Built in 1975 by owner Cliff Hagberg, Beach House at Bass River commands a majestic view of Nantucket Sound. Twenty-six guest rooms are furnished with wicker furniture and country antiques. Each room has a private bath, heat, air conditioning, telephone, cable television, refrigerator and either a private balcony or patio.

Ocean front rooms offer panoramic views of Nantucket Sound. Our private beach is for the exclusive use of our guests. Lounge chairs on the lawn overlooking the ocean are for sunning and relaxing.

Our complimentary Buffet Breakfast in The Salt Room offers freshly brewed coffee, tea, orange juice, fresh fruit, home baked breads and breakfast cakes, Beach House granola and more. Served daily from 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

For The Golf Enthusiast

For the Sun, splash and Sand Set

We welcome toddlers who will love our sandy beach, gentle waves and warm waters. Each toddler will receive a bucket and shovel to encourage digging and castle-building.
